- Event Pass — around $9 for 7 days of full Creator features, made for a party, a Halloween yard, or a one-off show where you don't need an ongoing subscription.

Is there really a free tier?
Yes. The Free Playground is free forever — no card and no account needed to start. You get the full mapping toolkit, all 18 starter templates, 8 starter effects, and up to 2 saved scenes, with no watermark for personal use. Most people map their first surface entirely on the free tier.
What's the difference between Creator and Lifetime?
They unlock the same thing — unlimited saved scenes, all 24 effects plus every future pack, audio-reactive effects, and project export & import. Creator is a subscription at $49/year (or $6/month) that keeps updating as long as you're subscribed. Creator Lifetime is a one-time $79 payment: you own it forever with no recurring billing, and it includes 1 year of major updates.
